The Lextra surface is a patented process in which seven million yarn-dyed nylon fibers are driven into intricate designs using high voltage. That may sound a little scary, but don't worry, MouseRugs won't give you any shocks of static electricity.

MouseRugs are like tiny oriental carpets that you never have to vacuum. And as far as a mousing surface goes, MouseRugs are smoother than melted butter on hot toast. In fact, while creating the very web page that you are reading, we are using the Tree of Life MouseRug. MouseRugs truly are incredibly smooth. It's not at all like trying to run a mouse over shag carpeting (which we didn't actually test, but assume would be horrible).
