Simply flip the Graviti Electric Pepper Mill to start grinding. Turn it upright again to stop grinding. So, it basically works just like a regular pepper shaker except that you don't need to shake it.

Too few batteries and the thing wouldn't work properly. While it doesn't ship with batteries (you'll have to supply them yourself), it does ship with pepper. So, once your Graviti Pepper Mill arrives, toss in a few batteries (and a little gravity), and you'll be grinding away in no time.
